About Blue Cave Tour From Split

The Blue Cave tour from Split is action packed and will have you zipping to some of Croatia’s best islands by speedboat, exploring caves in Croatia like the Blue Grotto and Monk seal cave on Biševo island, swimming in remarkable locations like Stiniva Bay and visiting the island of Hvar, Croatia most famous island.

Your day will commence in Split where you will board our slick speedboat, the fastest way to get to the Blue Cave on the Bisevo island, which also happens to be extremely safe and suitable for everyone. Then it’s a 1.5-hour ride to the bay of Balun where the Blue Cave is located. Known locally as Modra Špilja, the water cave in Croatia was formed by the action of the waves eroding the limestone. In the morning, as the sunlight penetrates the cave, the sunbeams strike the white limestone cave floor through the sea and it reflects spectacular shades of blue throughout the cave. The Blue Cave really is an enchanting place and something you will never forget.

After the Blue Cave, we will visit shortly the Monk seal cave, another famous cave in Croatia, then we head to the award-winning Stiniva Beach. This secluded sandy beach is only accessible by hiking a steep narrow winding track or by boat. Surrounded by limestone cliffs and an entrance to the sea only 16ft wide, Stiniva beach is impressive.  Following Stiniva we make our way to the Rukavac bay where we will take a well-earned swim stop.

The next leg of our journey is to Palmizana, which is part of the Pakleni Islands near Split. Here you will get free time to explore this beautiful little island, swim in its striking sandy bay and grab lunch or perhaps a cocktail at a beachside bar.

From Palmizana we make our way to the final destination of the day, Hvar. Our speed boat will drop you in the heart of this charming town, which has been attracting the rich and famous for decades – and it’s easy to see why. With renaissance architecture, chic restaurants, a rich history and the best climate in the Adriatic, Hvar has long been one of Croatia’s premier tourist destinations. Here you will have a couple hours to explore the wonders of Hvar for yourself.

Once our time in Hvar is up, it’s time to board the speed boat and make our way back to Split. The Blue Cave tour from Split is one of the most thrilling available trips in Croatia.
