Blue Cave Tour From Stobrec
Would you like to spend a day full of action and fun on Dalmatia’s most beautiful islands? Then our Blue cave tour from Stobrec is the perfect choice for you as we will show you the most remarkable natural attractions of the region, enable you to swim in astonishing locations and visit Hvar, Croatia’s most famous island.
Our tour starts in Stobrec, where our driver will pick you up and take you to Split to join the other passengers on this trip and embark the speedboat (or vehicle), which is the fastest means of transportation to the Biševo island. We would like to point out that this way of travelling is extremely safe as well as suitable for everyone.
After the 1.5-hour ride, we will reach the bay of Balun and its world-famous Blue Cave. Modra Špilja, as the locals call it, was created by waves that over time eroded the island’s limestone, thus forming this magical cave. It is our first sight of the day, because it must be visited in the hours before noon, when the sun rays hit the opening underneath the sea surface in the right angle and illuminate the white limestone floor of the cave in spectacular blue and silver colors. Prepare your cameras for this unforgettable wonder of nature.
Continuing our tour we will briefly visit the Monk Seal Cave and then take you to the amazing Stiniva Beach. This beach was not only awarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but was also recently used as the film location for the Hollywood movie “Mama Mia 2”. This pebble beach is perfectly hidden at the foot of a steep hill and protected by high cliffs and a 16ft wide entrance from the sea. Once you see it, you will understand why Stiniva deserves its reputation as Europe’s best beach. The next stop on our agenda is Budikovac island, where you will have plenty of time to swim in the crystal blue Adriatic Sea.
Palmižana that is part of the Pakleni archipelago in front of island Hvar is our next destination. This beautiful small island is famous for its sandy and blue lagoon and its excellent restaurants and bars by the sea. We recommend exploring its lush vegetation, the beautiful waters and delicious cuisine during your free time.
After only a short boat ride, we will reach this day’s final destination, town Hvar. Upon disembarkation right in the center of this world-famous town, you will have several hours of free time during which we recommend visiting the numerous historic sights, exquisite restaurants and bars. See for yourself why Hvar gained its reputation as a top ten destination.
After our visit of Hvar, it is time to end our exciting day trip with a boat ride back to Split and from there via Stobrec. Our Blue Cave tour from Stobrec is surely an experience you do not want to miss!
