Our first destination from Trogir to Krka is Šibenik. This glorious and proud city will win you over with its stone architecture, history and, last but not least, the famous Cathedral of St. James, which is listed as a World Heritage Site since 2000. Šibenik is still a city to be discovered as tourism has not yet taken its toll as in many other places along the coast, so it is a great opportunity to visit and see it.
Our next highlight is the Krka National Park, which will be a great shift from the urban jungle of Šibenik to the real one in the canyon of the Krka River. The pristine nature of the park with its lush vegetation will leave you breathless. As this is a guided tour, we will make sure that you won’t miss any attraction in the park and that you will get plenty of information about its flora and fauna, history and creation. You will visit the well-known waterfall Skradinski Buk, learn how the water mills along the river work and see the traditional and beautifully restored ethno village.
After the guided tour inside the park, you will have plenty of free time to wander along the many trails and do some exploring on your own. We encourage our guests to jump into the cooling waters of the river and swim among the beautiful travertine formations and waterfalls in the designated areas of the park. Don’t miss it as these will be rewarding moments you will happily remember when being back home again.
A short boat ride away is our next destination, the small and pretty little town Skradin. Snatch a great seat on the boat to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the delta and its amazing wildlife. In Skradin you will be welcomed by the guide who will take you to a traditional winery for some food and wine tasting.
