Once we are all on board of our comfortable minibus, it’s time to take off to our destination of the day, the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Along our journey, we will pass the Velebit Mountains range and have beautiful views over the Paklenica National Park and the Adriatic islands. We will also cross through the tunnel Sveti Rok under the Velebit Mountains, which is the passage to the interior of Croatia that immensely differs from the rocky landscape of the coastal area. You will find yourself rolling through green fields, dense forests and fertile fields all the way to the famous lakes.

The Plitvice Lakes National Park, our final destination, belongs to the major natural attractions of Croatia and is one of the country’s oldest national parks (established in 1949). The beauty of the interconnected 16 lakes and their unique eco-system gained global recognition by being placed on the UNSECO World Heritage List in 1979.
