There are many wooden walkways around the park which make their way along the lakes over small cascades, which you can use to take a stroll to the most amazing waterfalls in the park.
Your Guide will share the history and natural features and characteristics of the park with you, take you on a train ride to see the amazing panorama of Plitvice, and then take a relaxing hike along the upper lakes trail. You will finish your tour of Plitvice Lakes with an electric boat ride across Kozjak Lake. This will leave you with enough time to have a meal in Plitvice National Park restaurant. Your guided tour will later continue with lower lakes of the Plitvice National Parl which will also include a visit to the most famous waterfall – The Great Waterfall of 78 meters.

7:00 – 11:30 Departure from Omis to Plitvice Lakes National Park
After the group meets at a designated meeting point, the minibus will take you to the Pltivice Lakes National Park. The journey to Plitvice Lakes is a treat of its own, while you cruise through Velebit mountain, home to Paklenica National Park and enjoy the sights of the island of Pag and its rocky moon-like surface. You will also pass through Croatia’s longest tunnel of Mala Kapela at 5821 meters, and the region of Lika, the mountain region of Croatia.
11:30 – 15:30 Guided Plitvice Lakes National Park Tour
Once you arrive to the stunning and mesmerizing Plitvice Lakes National Park, you won’t believe your eyes. The beauty of this most visited site in Croatia has become a national park in 1949 and was granted a UNESCO World Heritage site status in 1979. The 16 lakes which connect by small passages, cascades and streams are together with its waterfalls, the park’s most prominent features. The colors of blue, green and turquoise all melt together in a water rhapsody.
Wooden walkways surround the edges of the lakes so that you may take a stroll across the lakes, because all the paths are interconnected. You may use the wooden walkways to walk over the lakes and reach the waterfalls. All the best sites in the park are visible from these paths. The trails across the lakes will take you to an enchanted land of fairies, a home to fairytales and unique beauty hidden inside Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Your Guide will greet you at the entrance to the park and introduce you to the history and landmark features of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Your daily activities will include a guided tour of the upper lakes, a panoramic train ride in the park, an electric boat ride on the biggest lake – the Kozjak Lake; and a guided tour to the highest waterfall- the Great Waterfall, which is also the highest waterfall in Croatia.

Once you have taken a tour with your Guide, you will have 1 hour for a lunch break in one of the local restaurants. Feel free to taste local delicacies and buy some Plitvice lakes souvenirs.
17:00 – 20:30 Plitvice Lakes to Omis
Your tour of Plitvice Lakes has come to its end and you will now embark on your journey back to Omis, have enough time to reflect on the amazing time you had had and relax before you get back to your accommodation in Omis.
