Blue Cave Tour From Hvar
This full day trip from Hvar to Vis is one of the most popular active tours in Croatia, perfect for everyone searching for a fun and eventful day. The tour to Blue Cave is special because it includes beautiful sights; fun speedboat ride and swimming in crystal blue Adriatic Sea.
Most Blue Cave tours are organized from cities on the mainland like Split, but if you are already vacationing on an island of Hvar, we have a tour that starts there. Unlike our Split Blue Cave tour, this tour from Hvar includes a visit to the Green Cave and the town of Komiza on the island of Vis. The tour is organized on a fast and comfortable speedboat, which is safe and reliable.
Our tour will start in the morning and our first stop will be the Ravnik Island and its famous Green Cave. Here you will have time to take a morning swim. From Ravnik Island we continue our journey to the Blue Cave, but we will make a stop at the Stiniva beach on the island of Vis. Stiniva beach is the next stop on our tour to Blue Cave, located on the island of Vis and famous for its narrow entrance from the sea side. The beach is located on the south side of the island of Vis and you can reach Stiniva either hiking by foot, or by a boat. Stiniva is famous for its limestone cliffs and the entrance to the beach from the sea which is only 16ft wide, so boats don’t enter the beach, but you can swim there.
Finally we continue our tour by stopping on the island of Bisevo and the famous Blue Cave. Once we get there you will be able to enjoy in the amazing game of light and the sea inside the Blue Cave. The Blue cave (“Modra špilja” in Croatian) was formed by erosion of limestone by constant Adriatic Sea waves. Watch sunbeams strike the walls of the cave while penetrating through a hole, thus creating majestic shades of blue light across the cave walls. We guarantee Blue Cave is a memory you will never forget. Since it is a very popular tourist destination, you will probably need to wait in a queue, but it is definitely worth it.
With Blue Cave imprinted in your mind we will stop on the island of Vis and its beautiful small town of Komiza, where you can enjoy having a stroll through its paved streets. Komiza is a famous fishermen village, praised for its authenticity and history.
We leave Vis and continue our tour by stopping on Pakleni islands on the southwest side of the island of Hvar, namely its most popular place – Palmizana. Palmizana is a bay on the south side, with several lounge bars and top restaurants, so you have time to enjoy some free time and explore Palmizana exactly the way you want.
We return to Hvar to our meeting place, where you can continue your vacation in Croatia on one of the most famous Croatian islands. We are sure that our Blue Cave tour from Hvar will bring a new light to amazing Croatian islands and be the memory you treasure always.
